A ten year old boy, charged with the crime of fatally beating 90-year-old woman, is to remain in adult prison today after his lawyer withdrew his request for bail. The lawyer said that the boy's family is not ready to take him into custody yet. The beating occurred Saturday in Damascus Township, Wayne County when the boy was spending the weekend at his grandfather's house, who is the caretaker of the deceased woman. The boy is one of the youngest people to be tried as an adult for murder in Pennsylvania's history.

Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Seamus McCaffery has been linked to more than 230 emails containing sexually explicit material. Some of the emails, which occurred between 2008 and 2012, were sent to the state email accounts of government employees. No other Supreme Court justice was identified as having taken part in the pornographic email scandal.

Two Pennsylvania high school soccer coaches decided to resign yesterday after several of their players hurled Ebola taunts at a rival player from West Africa. According to authorities, the comments were said during last week’s game against Nazareth Area High School. Northampton Area Superintendant Joseph Kovalchik says he has already met with the team and plans to discipline the offending students. According to reports, the recipient was hurt by the comments, though his peers have rallied behind him for support.

Sports – Kansas City Royals are going to the World Series after beating the Orioles tonight, 2 – 1 and sweeping the American League Championship.

Weather - You can expect heavy showers tonight, at 66 degrees.
