According to a search warrant affidavit that was filed in Pike County, Police found a laptop and two USB thumb drives in the abandoned plane hanger where accused trooper killer Eric Frein was captured last week. Frein was on the run for 48 days in the woods in Northeastern Pennsylvania after killing one state trooper and injuring another. Court records say that Frein told police that the computer belonged to him and that he used it to access the internet through open wifi networks while evading the police manhunt. The attack happened on September 12th and the Blooming Grove police barracks. He was eventually captured at the Birchwood-Pocono Airpark.

The search continues for the missing 22-year-old woman taken on Sunday night in Germantown. Carlesha Freeland-Gaither was snatched off the street on the 100 block of West Coulter Street around 9:40 pm by an unknown assailant. She was then forced inside a dark grey sedan and driven off; her glasses and cell phone were dropped on the sidewalk. Her family says that she had a former boyfriend from Maryland that was 'obsessed' with her and may have tracked her down. Carlesha's ATM card was used at a machine just off I-95 in Aberdeen, MD at 6:01 a.m. Monday. Her family couldn't identify the person in the surveillance picture. There is a $47,000 reward being offered in this case. Some of it is for both an arrest and conviction, some for an arrest only. If you have any information contact Northwest Detectives Division at 215-686-3353.
