An officer has been wounded after serving a search warrant at a Delaware county home. The shootout occurred on Lafayette Avenue in Collingdale. after 9 officers and some members of the Upper Darby SWAT team visited the home, attempting to investigate a shooting that occurred on October 27th. Lamar James was charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault of a police officer. Tony Gale was charged with obstruction of justice.

Yesterday a Montgomery County Court jury voted to give $124 million to the estate of Ellen Gregory Robb, who was brutally murdered by her husband in 2006 in their Upper Merion home. Jurors deliberated for five hours before returning with a unanimous vote to leave Rafael Robb practically penniless after his release from prison. 8 years ago, Robb beat his wife to death with a metal bar in their home.

Government elect Tom Wolf said yesterday that he plans to make education a top priority during his term. He also pledged to do his best to work together with the Republicans. In an interview in Manchester, Wolf said that he’s “hoping that we can figure out ways to work together…there are good people on both sides of the aisle up there.” Wolf also stated that he plans to either forego his state salary or donate it to charity. Lastly, he plans to split his time between Harrisburg and his Mount Wolf home.
