Corvette Dumped Over Divorce; Eagles Win Before Tougher Challenge; Polar Front Coming

A cherry red 1990 Corvette was pulled from the Delaware River last night after being dumped there by a man going through a bitter divorce. Police say the man drove his soon to be ex-wife's cherished classic Corvette to a spot near the Tacony Palmyra bridge, put it in gear, got out, and watched the car drive itself into the river. As the husband ran from the scene, he pleaded with a witness not to call police, saying it was a family matter. The man faces the prospect of reckless endangerment and other charges.

Still feeling a little giddy over the Eagles blowout of the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football last night. You are not alone. Eagles fans watched backup quarterback Mark Sanchez get the job done on offense supported by another outstanding performance from both the defense and special teams. The road gets tougher this week as the Eagles travel to Green Bay where the Packers have been dominating opponents. But for today, let visions of Super Bowl dance in your head.

Enjoy this pre-winter bonus weather! Today is another beautiful day with temperatures in the high 60’s and tomorrow we’ll hit the 60’s again but the winds of change begin tomorrow. By Thursday, a polar front moves in across the Philadelphia region with lows in the 20’s. And daytime highs will struggle to get out of the 30’s. And we have to bring up that dreaded four letter word, Snow. Flurries or snow showers are possible Thursday night into Friday.

Weather
Mix of sun and clouds today. 68 in Center City.
