A lawsuit by a woman who claims Bill Cosby molested her when she was 15 years old has moved allegations of sexual misconduct against the comedian from the court of public opinion into the courthouse. Judy Huth's lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles accuses Cosby of forcing her to perform a sex act on him with her hand in a bedroom of the Playboy Mansion around 1974. She is the latest woman to accuse the comedian of sex abuse, and is the first one since 2005 to file a lawsuit.

A Philadelphia area man could be President Obama’s top pick for Secretary of Defense. According to reports, the president may nominate Ashton Carter, a Montgomery County native to replace Chuck Hagel. Carter, now 60, graduated from Abington High School and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame in 1989. He graduated with top honors from Yale and Oxford, has a science background and extensive experience in national security serving as Deputy Secretary of Defense from 2011 to 2013.

Bike racing enthusiasts in Philadelphia are pushing a plan for an Olympic-class arena to be built in South Philly. The $100 million velodrome would be built on four acres in FDR park near the stadium complex. Named Project 250, the privately planned arena has excited the imaginations of cyclists, who believe a state-of-the-art, 250-meter bike track would become a top U.S. venue for international races.
