Philadelphia Police say a man is dead after he was struck by a SEPTA Regional Rail train Sunday Night. That happened just before 10 p.m. at 31st and Market Streets. The victim was struck by a Trenton Line train and pronounced dead shortly after the incident. Police are investigating.

Police are searching for two men they say robbed a 7-Eleven overnight in Lower Merion. It happened around 12:30 a.m. Monday at a store along the 5300 block of City Avenue. Police say two men, one armed with a gun, walked into the store and demanded cash from the clerk. The pair robbed the store of cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets. The clerk was taken to the hospital with a back injury after being pushed against the wall by one of the robbers.

Philadelphia police are investigating a possible abduction case Monday morning. The incident happened in the city’s Olney neighborhood. According to investigators, police found a victim with several facial injuries in the 700 block of W. Chew Avenue. Authorities are investigating the possibility that the victim may have been abducted. The individual was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where they are listed in stable condition. Investigators said one person was taken into custody and they are still looking for another individual. The incident remains under investigation.
