Gloucester Township police have arrested a man for allegedly secretly recording two women undressing in their bathrooms. 25-year-old Carl Camp Jr. of Magnolia, NJ, was charged with two counts of third degree Invasion of Privacy. Camp would set up a cell phone in a bathroom to record his female friends on several separate occasions when he visited their apartments. On a recent occasion one of the friends discovered the phone and notified police. Camp has been released pending a court hearing.

The daughter of former Philadelphia fire commissioner Lloyd Ayers has become the latest and youngest candidate in next year's race for Philadelphia City Council. 26-year old Jenné Ayers announced her intention to run for a Council at-large seat today in front of the Free Library's main library. She stood beside her father who retired in June after a 40 year career. Ayers graduated from Masterman High School and Harvard University and will receive her law degree from Yale this spring. She says her father inspired her to serve people and she wants to, “get out there and help folks.” If elected, Ayers will become the youngest person to ever serve on City Council.

A man in Malvern is accused of stealing money left at several homes on the Main Line meant as tips for trash collectors. Treddyfrin police have identified 50-year-old Norman Victor Demko of the 4100 block of Howell Road in Malvern. At 8:30 am on December 22 a resident on the 100 block of Brookmead Road in the Wayne saw a man driving a white volvo take a card left for the trash men. He wrote down a partial plate and called police. They were able to run the plate and find a vehicle with the matching make, model, and color and arrest the owner. Authorities believed he was responsible for at least a half dozen other similar thefts where residents had left cards taped to their trashcans for the sanitation workers.
