Lululemon Looted, South Philly Fire Kills Two, Urban Saloon Robbed

Vandals targeted the Lululemon store in Center City, two days after a partial roof collapse injured three people at that same location. The vandals tossed a brick through the door and stole clothing and other merchandise. Several people suffered minor injuries Tuesday after bricks from a neighboring building crashed through the roof of the store on the 1500 block of Walnut Street.

Fire officials say two residents are dead and a police officer was injured trying to rescue those victims during a house fire early Thursday morning in South Philadelphia. The blaze broke out just before 1:30 a.m. in the first floor of a two-story rowhome on the 400 block of Daly Street.
Officials say a man and woman living in the home were trapped and killed. They were the only two people inside the home during the fire.

Police say a man held up the Urban Saloon in Fairmount at gunpoint early Thursday morning, and got away with a significant amount of cash. This happened just after 12:30 a.m. at the bar located on the 2100 block of Fairmount Avenue. The suspect reportedly fled on foot with the cash. He was last seen heading east on Fairmount Avenue.

UPDATE 2/3/15: Philadelphia Police have release surveillance video related to the robbery of the Urban Saloon in Fairmount last week. The armed suspect is described as being between 19-22 years of age, 5' 9", wearing black face mask, gray hooded sweatshirt and bluejeans. The second suspect was around the same age, 5' 8", with an overbite, and a green hoodie.
