Over the weekend following the #1 seeded Villanova Wildcats heartbreaking loss to the #8 NC State Wolkpack, the image of Villanova's crying piccolo player raced around the Internet and defined the feeling of many fans in Nova Nation. Senior Roxanne Chalifoux continued to play on as the tears flowed down her face, persevering through the disappointment. Last night, she was in much better spirits as she was invited to sit in with Philadelphia's own The Roots as a guest player on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The band broke into the school's fight song, “V for Villanova,” following the monologue. Jimmy talked with Roxanne about the entire whirlwind surrounding her reaction to the team's loss. At the end she got a special surprise.
