The girlfriend of the off-duty Darby Officer who was shot and killed over the weekend has been charged with an incident from last summer. 27-year-old Tyaina Finch is charged with possession of an instrument of crime with intent, simple assault and terroristic threats in connection with an incident that happened last August when she allegedly threatened Officer Mark Hudson with a knife. Hudson went to court in January to get a restraining order against Finch. She was the only other person in the home when Hudson was found with a gunshot wound to the chest on Saturday afternoon. Apparently Hudson was shot with his own service revolver from several feet away. Finch was taken into custody at the scene. She was arraigned at the hospital after suffering an unrelated medical emergency. She is currently in jail, being held on $250,000 bail. Investigators are still working on the case.

Police in Abington Township have arrested a man for allegedly using a camera concealed inside a ball point pen to secretly record women inside a Target changing room. 32-year-old Miklos Jugovics of Warminster is facing charges of Invasion of Privacy, Unlawful use of Computers and Possessing Instruments of Crime. On March 21st, a female told police that while she was trying on clothes at the Target on Old York Road she noticed a small cylindrical device underneath the wall of the changing room. She tried to grab it but it was pulled away. The next week employees noticed a man lingering near the dressing rooms and called police who came and arrested Jugovics. He admitted to taking the photos and videos and putting them on his computer but did not upload them to the internet. Police believe he has been doing this since last November and there are other victims out there. If you feel you may have been victimized contact Detective Lisa Burton at 267-536-1108. Jugovics was arraigned and released on $10,000 bail.

Opening Day for the Philadelphia Phillies is only a week away, next Monday April 6th versus the Boston Red Sox. One big change at Citizen's Bank Park starting this weekend with the On-Deck Series vs the Pittsburgh Pirates will be the metal detectors at every gate. The airport-style detectors are a Major League Baseball mandate for all 30 ballparks this year. Last year, the Phillies tested the metal detectors at the right-field gate only, so you may already be familiar with the procedure. Unlike airport security, you don't have to take off your shoes or remove your belts. You'll have to pass around large items like cell phones, cameras, keys, pocketbooks, etc. (also cigarette packs from experience last year because the of foil). They say the detectors should take less time than the pat down process previously.
