Philadelphia Police released a new image and video of the van believed to be involved in the kidnapping and torture of a Jeweler's Row employee over the weekend. On Saturday afternoon just before 4 pm, the 53-year-old woman was taken by three men after leaving work at the National Watch and Diamond Company. She was bound and beaten while being driven around in the maroon/burgundy 1997-2002 Ford Econoline cargo van before being dumped in a Darby cemetery. The vehicle also has white paint or compound smeared on it's sides and back. Central Detectives are asking the public's help in finding the van, especially anyone with surveillance cameras that might have picked up a license plate or the suspects.

UPDATE: There is now a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the abduction.

Florida developer Glenn Straub and his Polo North Country Club are officially the new owners of the former Revel hotel-casino in Atlantic City. Straub paid $82 million for the property that was built just over 2 years ago for $2.4 billion. The sale wasn't an easy one. He spent months in bankruptcy court fighting for the deal amid challenges from current tenants and the building's power plant. He hasn't announced any formal plans for the site yet, but has applied for a gaming license and said he hopes to have the casino open for summer. Straub did unveil plans last week to spend $500 million on various project in Atlantic City. 'Project Phoenix' would include the purchase of the former Showboat Casino (adjacent to Revel) from Stockton University for $26 million and the development of Bader Field.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a shooting on the Schuylkill Expressway Eastbound in West Conshohocken. It took place before 6:00 pm Tuesday on I-76 at Matson's Ford Road near mile marker 332. Police say that a family of three from Philadelphia was traveling westbound in a Buick Lacrosse. The 22-year-old son was sitting in the back seat of the car. He pulled out a gun and shot his 42-year-old father in the head who was driving the car. The father was taken to the hospital where he is in stable but critical condition. The son was taken into custody. Charges are pending.

Tonight,
Cloudy w/ Showers, temperatures in the 50's this evening in Center City
