22-year-old Kymere Corbin of Philadelphia was arraigned today on on weapons and assault charges. He is accused of shooting his father, 42-year-old Elbert Corbin, Jr., while traveling in a car on the Schuylkill Expressway on Tuesday evening. It happened around 5:45 pm on I-76 westbound in West Conshohocken. The younger Corbin was sitting in the back seat of a white 2010 Buick Lacrosee, while his father was driving and his mother, Tanya Bates, was in the passenger seat. They were driving to the Malvern Institute in Malvern, PA, so the son could get treatment for drug and mental health issues. During the ride, the father and son became engaged in an argument. Kymere produced a 9mm handgun and shot his father in the face. He was able to stop the car safely. Paramedics treated him at the scene. He is listed in stable but critical condition at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Kymere is being held at being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500,000 cash bail.

A Chester County DJ and photographer, who is under investigation for sexual assault, was discovered with hundreds of images of child porn and upskirt videos of minors. 28-year-old Daniel Milowicki of West Bradford Township was arrested today and faces over 300 felony counts. The investigation started when a 21-year-old woman, who responded to a Craigslist ad looking for a model, told state police that Milowicki forced her to perform sex acts and video taped it at his home. Troopers searched his home and discovered the child porn images and the upskirt videos, some of high school girls. Milowicki, also known as DJ Dan Dub C or Danny Wicki, has worked as a DJ and photographer at numerous schools dances, parties, and events that gave him access to the minors. Police believe there are more victims out there. Anyone with information should contact Trooper Lori Edgar at 610-486-6280. Milowicki is now free after posting 10% of $250,000 bail.

21-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was convicted on all 30 counts for his role in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing that killed three people and injured at least 264. Seventeen of those counts carry the possibility of the death penalty. The jury deliberated for 11 hours total between Tuesday and Wednesday before reaching its decision on all of the counts. There will now be a penalty phase in front of the same jury. The prosecution will present all aggravating factors to show that he deserves the death penalty. The defense plans to present mitigating factors showing that Dzhokar was not as culpable as his brother Tamerlan and that he was in fact acting under the heavy influence of his radicalized sibling. All 12 jurors will have to agree on the death penalty, otherwise Tsarnaev will receive a life sentence without parole.

Tonight,
Cloudy, temperatures in the low 40's this evening in Center City
