Philadelphia-Baltimore Protest; Love Park Redesign; Crozer Hearing Tests

Protesters organized a demonstration at Philadelphia's City Hall to draw parallels between the death of a man shot during a traffic stop and a death in police custody that sparked riots in Baltimore. Police say the rally ended around 11:30 last night. Organizers of the "Philly is Baltimore" Demonstration compare the December shooting death of Brandon Tate-Brown in Philadelphia to the April 19th death of Freddie Gray in Baltimore.

The plan for a redesigned Love Park was unveiled yesterday by the city's Department of Parks and Recreation. The design balances civic formality with a green lawn for public enjoyment. The plans also manage to preserve two important features from the existing park: the beloved "spaceship" building, and the jet of water that forms the picturesque backdrop to Robert Indiana's LOVE sculpture.

Crozer-Keystone Health System is offering free hearing screenings throughout May at their hospitals for adults who do not already see a doctor for hearing problems and who do not wear a hearing aid. All part of Better Speech and Hearing Month. The first screenings are to be held Wednesday at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill at 9 a.m. Registration for the screening is required. To register, call 1-800-254-3258.

The Phillies start a series in Miami with the Marlins tonight.
