Philadelphia Police have arrested a New Jersey man for the theft and burglary of dozens of guitars and other musical equipment from storage lockers in Port Richmond in March. Police have charged 34-year-old Jason Mackenzie of Berlin, NJ, with burglary and other offenses. He is accused, along with two accomplices, of cutting a hole in the roof of the Public Store on Castor Ave on the night of March 25th and taking 35 guitars, 10 amplifiers, electronics, vinyl records and children's toys from the storage unit. He was taken into custody on Thursday on the the 2300 hundred block of Frankford Avenue. No word on the other two accomplices. SEE ALSO:Guitars Stolen from Storage - Video

Saint Joseph's University announced on Friday that it has suspended the women's softball team for the remainder of the season. The decision comes after the school's investigation into hazing allegations against four members of the team. The controversy became public early last month. Freshmen members of the team allegedly received letters from upperclassmen stating that it was 'deliverance week' with a set of instructions and that failure to comply would result in consequences. The students had to consume large amounts of alcohol, perform lap dances for upperclassman on the team, mimic sex acts, and perform other inappropriate and graphic acts. The university released the following statement:
"Saint Joseph's University has concluded a Community Standards review process in the ongoing women's softball matter. Due to violations of campus community standards, the women's softball team will not be participating in scheduled contests for the remainder of the season. The Family Educational Right to Privacy Act (FERPA) prevents the University from addressing individual student-athletes or specific violations and SJU will have no further statements at this time."

The Blue Cross Broad Street Run is set for this Sunday morning at 8 a.m. This year, organizers are expecting 40,000 runners to hit the pavement from Fischer to Farragut for the 36th year of the 10-miler. Before race day, though, racers need to pick up their race packets. Today and tomorrow, the “Not Just For Runners Expo” is being held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Registered racers are picking up their bibs, t-shirts, etc. But don't come alone. There is also live music, samples from vendors, face painting and balloon animals for the kids, free ice cream and more. The weather for Sunday looks perfect. Sunny and 60 degrees at the start.

Tonight,
Mostly Cloudy, temperatures in the Mid upper 50's this evening in Center City
