U2 found their way down to the subway platform in New York City on Monday night and busked for commuters. The Irish rockers are back in NYC to play on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this Friday. They had to cancel a weeklong appearance on the show last year when Bono got into a nasty bike accident. Fallon was spotted in the crowd and chef Mario Batali caught the performance on the S train platform in Grand Central Station. The band kicks off their North American iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour on May 14th. They do not stop in Philadelphia, but they play 8 shows at Madison Square Garden at the end of July.

Battery charges against singer Chris Brown have been dropped. The man that claimed Brown punched him during a pickup basketball game in Las Vegas has declined to press charges. The man told police that he was playing basketball with the singer at the Palms Casino Resort when they got into a verbal argument. He claimed that Brown punched him and another individual with the singer also punched him. The man sought treatment at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police detectives had given Brown the option of signing a citation for misdemeanor battery after they could not locate him at the hotel. Without the cooperation of the complainant they will no longer pursue charges. Publicist Nicole Perna denied Brown's involved. "Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drai's on May 5th and receiving a Key to the Strip that day as well," Perna said in a statement. "He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person."
