A man was caught flying a drone quadcopter over Citizen's Bank Park during Sunday's Phillies/Rockies game. It happened around 4:00 p.m. during the 6th inning. Phillies' security officials noticed the drone flying over the third base gate and then watched it leave the stadium and land outside. Philadelphia Police were called and quickly apprehended the operator along Pattison Ave. outside the stadium. Police along with Eagles' and Phillies' security questioned the man. He apparently was trying to capture video of the game. Phillies' security made him erase any footage. Eagles' security confiscated the drone. It is expected to be returned. It was not determined where he was standing (on Lincoln Financial Field property, Citizen's Bank Park property, or city property) and if he had line of sight to the drone. The operator was released and no charges have been filed. The incident has been referred to the Federal Aviation Administration. There are various regulations that may have been violated including flying over a stadium or large crowd as well as being in a restricted area from Philadelphia International Airport. He could face a penalty or fine from the FAA.

A man was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot multiple times in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia. It happened 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 7100 block of North 18th Street. Two masked men robbed a 52-year-old man. The victim handed over the money, but one of the suspects shot him anyway. The man was hit in his hip and thigh. Police are still investigating the incident.

Police say that a man was stabbed to death in East Falls in a dispute over a cell phone tonight. It happened around 7:15 p.m. on the 3100 block of Berkeley Drive. The 36-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest and arm. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police took some people in for questioning. The investigation continues.
