Police in Camden County have identified a suspect in Wednesday night's shooting of a police officer. Authorities are looking for 21-year-old Victor Bennett of Camden. Around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday night police say that he opened fire on the officer's vehicle as it drove by on Kenwood Ave hitting it several times. Officer Prince Reed was hit in the arm by a bullet fragment. Reed pursued but Bennett got away. He was later treated at Cooper University Hospital for his injuries. There is now a $5000 reward for information leading to his arrest. Bennett is described as a black male, 6'2", 195 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He also has distinctive facial tattoos (see picture below). He should be considered armed and dangerous.
