Philadelphia Police have released surveillance video of four armed suspects attempting a home robbery on the 500 block of Burnham Road on Tuesday night. It happened around 10:30 p.m. in West Mount Airy. The 32-year-old resident heard a knock on the door and opened it slightly. He saw another man appear with a gun and quickly shut and locked the door. He witnessed two others appear on the video camera. All four men were armed, three with handguns and one with a shotgun. They attempted to get into the house but couldn't. They then fled in an unknown direction. If you see these suspect do not approach, call 911 or 215-686-TIPS (8477). Watch the video below:

Villanova University has received approval to move forward with a campus expansion project that will include student housing, a performance arts center, parking and shopping along Lancaster Ave. The green light came after a 4-2 vote from Radnor Township officials on Monday. Villanova and Radnor officials have been working for three and a half years to come up with this deal after input from the school, township, and neighbors. The $225 million project will begin this fall and will transform the main parking lots along Lancaster Ave. For more information about the project visit:

The Delaware River Port Authority announced that it will be restoring frequent user discounts on its bridges. Starting before the end of the year if you go over one of their four bridges at least 18 times a month you will be eligible for a $1 discount per toll. It will be automatically applied to your E-ZPass statement each month.
