A West Philadelphia woman and her boyfriend have been arrested and charged with false imprisonment, unlawful restraint and conspiracy. 26-year-old Latrice Graves and her boyfriend 33-year-old Phillip Martin unlawfully restrained Graves brother who has autism in their Overbrook home. On Sunday, surveillance video shows the man running into a corner store across the street with handcuff dangling from his wrists. The owner of the store says about a month ago the same man came into his store nearly naked and bound with duct tape.

If Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane steps down to deal with criminal charges against her, a familiar face around Philadelphia has offered to fill in. Lynne Abraham, Philly’s former DA reached out to Democratic Party Chair, US Rep Robert Brady who says he would gladly support Abraham. The call will be made by Governor Tom Wolf who wants Kane gone.

The principal at Waldron-Mercy Academy has announced the school will hold a special meeting in September for parents to discuss the firing of Margie Winters, the Director of Religious Education since 2007 let go after a parent complained about her being in a same-sex marriage. Principal, Nell Stetser want to use the September meeting to explain the decision.
