A man who jumped the White House fence earlier this year was shot and killed after stabbing a sheriff's deputy inside the Chester County Justice Center today. 33-year-old Curtis Smith of Coatesville, PA, entered the Justice Center in West Chester around 11 a.m. He ran right through the doors and past security yelling, 'I'm gonna get ya, I'm gonna get ya.' Smith starting slashing at a deputy before another opened fire hitting him. Smith was taken to Paoli Hospital where he later died. The officer was treated for wounds to his hand and arm. The Justice Center was evacuated and closed for the day. Chester County DA Tom Hogan said that Smith had been arrested for unlawful entry on March 1st, 2015 by Secret Service for hopping a stone wall at the South East vehicle entrance of the White House. He reached an agreement with authorities in that case.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after several decomposing bodies were found in a garage in Strawberry Mansion. Residents have been smelling a foul odor for several days coming from the garage on West Hagert Street near 26th and called police. Two boxes and a coffin each containing a body were found inside. The garage is apparently owned by a funeral home around the corner. The medical examiner is determining the cause and manner of death for the bodies and why they have not been properly stored. The investigation is ongoing.
