A legal battle is brewing over a sculpture created by an African artist and seized by federal agents in Philadelphia this spring. "War Throne" is a chair made entirely of decommissioned weaponry. Adam Solow, who purchased the artwork through an Italian broker, says the firearms no longer pose a danger. But federal authorities disagree: Customs agents flagged "War Throne" when it arrived in Philadelphia in April. The owner will need a firearms importation permit to get the sculpture back.

The University of Pennsylvania and Amazon.com are being sued by the mother of a student who killed herself in 2013 with cyanide she allegedly purchased through the online retailer. 20 year old Arya Singh, a junior in the School of Nursing, died Feb. 8th, 2013, after ingesting soluble cyanide crystals in her dorm room. Singh reported a sexual assault in 2011 by a male student. No charges were filed against the student, and he remained on campus.
