Body Pulled From Delaware River; Police Cruiser in Accident in Franklin; Four Men Wanted in Robbery

Philadelphia Police pulled a body from the Delaware River Friday evening near Penn's Landing. It was discovered by two women walking near Christopher Columbus Boulevard and the Market Street ramp just before 7 pm. The Marine Unit recovered the body and took it back to Marine headquarters on Washington Avenue. Police say the body belongs to a black female ages 20-40 years old. An autopsy will be performed to determine cause of death.

A police cruiser and a SUV were involved in a crash in Gloucester County, NJ on Friday night. It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Route 40 and Tuckahoe Road in Franklin Township. The driver of the SUV was not injured but the Franklin Township police officer suffered non-life threatening injuries after his cruiser veered off into the woods. He was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital.

UPDATE: 14-year-veteran Police officer Clifford Trovilla was driving the police cruiser when it was hit by the SUV driven by 36-year-old Angela Feaster of Glamssboro. Feaster ran a stop sign before collided with the officer. Trovilla suffered a concussion, two broken wrists and a broken ankle. Feaster suffered a broken ankle. She had three children in the car with her. One child was taken to Cooper University Hospital for possible internal injuries. Feaster has been charged with DUI and other charges.

Philadelphia are looking for four men in connection with a home invasion near the campus of Temple University in North Philadelphia. It happened around 7:30 pm Friday night on the 1900 block of W. Diamond Street. A 26-year-old male was entering his 2nd floor apartment when he was confronted by the men, two of whom were armed. They stole his wallet, his watch, jewelry and cell phone. One of the men struck the victim on the head with a gun. The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition. Police are reviewing security footage from the apartments.
