Homeless Couple Still Waiting for Children, Gets Donations; Hatboro Man Charged Child Porn

The homeless couple whose 2-year-old son was found wandering in LOVE Park on Friday night was in court this afternoon hoping to regain custody of their children. DHS took both their son and 4-year-old daughter after the incident. The family was forced to spend the night in the park after losing their home last week. Today, the judge granted them 2 hours of supervised visitation twice a week until drug and mental health evaluations can be completed. A fundraiser set up by Chosen 300 ministries has already raised $12,000 for the family, enough to pay rent for a year. Job offers have already begun to come in. The couple hopes to find an apartment soon and provide a safe environment so their kids can join them.

A Montgomery County man has been charged with sexual abuse of children for possessing and disseminating child pornography. 20-year-old Pablo Rodriguez of Hatboro was found with 1,500 images and video of underage males and females on his computer, flash drives, and other digital media after an investigation by Hatboro Police and the Department of Homeland Security. The evidence was seized in 2014 when Rodriguez was an 18-year-old senior at Hatboro-Horsham High School. The victims ranged in age from teens to infants. Investigators say he used several email accounts to transmit and receive the images. His bail is set at $100,000 with the condition that he has no contact with anyone under 18 and does not have internet access.
