Muslim Nations Condemn France Attacks, File and Suspend Strategy Eliminated, Widows Stand Strong

The world's largest body of Muslim Nations - the Organization of Islamic Cooperation - has condemned the attacks in Paris and has expressed unwavering support to France. Meanwhile, local Muslim groups are also speaking out. Part of the problem is misdirected backlash. Attacks like the one in Paris can result in hate crimes against peaceful Muslims around the world, including in Philadelphia. Muslims want to make clear - they are not terrorists and have nothing to do with ISIS. Philadelphia is home to roughly 200,000 Muslims.

The new federal budget closes several social security loopholes that could mean less money for you. The new budget eliminates the file and suspend strategy, which let couples collect on one spouses social security benefits, while both benefit accounts continued to grow. Now people nearing retirement will need to rethink their plans.

14 Philadelphia Police officers have been killed in the last nine years. Now, some of their widows will come together tonight for a fundraiser called â€œWidows Stand Strong.â€ The event raises money for the FOP Survivors Fund, which is organized by the police union, to help support the families of fallen officers. All of the proceeds from â€œWidows Stand Strong,â€ which includes a 50/50, tips, t-shirt sales and a $10 donation at the door, will be going to the FOP Survivors Fund on behalf of The Irish Pub Childrenâ€™s Foundation (IPCF).
