Major League Baseball says no Hall of Fame for Pete Rose, but his old Cincinnati Reds will let Charlie Hustle into their Hall. The Reds announced on Tuesday that Rose will be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame. In December, new MLB commissioner Rob Manfred upheld Rose's lifetime ban from the game for gambling on baseball. The Reds made it clear that MLB's all-time hits leader belongs in their Hall. Rose, 74, was banned from baseball in 1989, but he denied gambling on baseball up until 2004. In rejecting Rose's bid for reinstatement, Manfred cited his continuing gambling and the fact that he bet on the game as a player and manager for the Reds.

More than two weeks after the skeletal remains of a woman were discovered in a Delaware County park, state police are pinning their hopes for identifying the body on three distinctive pieces of jewelry. Authorities released photographs of three rings believed to have belonged to the woman, whose remains were found Jan. 1 in Ridley Creek State Park by someone walking in the woods. The jewelry was recovered from inside the clothing of the woman. Described by police as "unique," all three rings appear to be yellow-gold, but worn and rusted over time. One is an Irish Claddagh ring set with a green stone.
