If you rode the Philadelphia subway system on Sunday, January 10th you may have seen riders not wearing pants. Maybe you were one of them - taking part in No Pants Subway Rides. It's a growing international event that some people participated in this year on some SEPTA cars. It started in 2002 in New York for no purpose other than good clean fun. Participants act like they don't notice each other in their briefs. As long as underwear is on, it's not indecent exposure, and no infringement on customers. SEPTA says it won't interfere.

Philadelphians love our Dietz and Watson. Yesterday, Momma Dietz celebrated her 91st birthday. Ruth Dietz Eni started working for her father in 1939 and has remained a family run business for 76 years. Employees celebrated Momma Dietz's birthday with a cake and some specialty sausages, of course. At 91, Momma Dietz still works most days except in the summer when she’ll take some time off to head to the shore.

The Philadelphia Eagles made their first move under new coach Doug Pederson. The birds awarded a 5 year contract extension to Tight End, Zach Ertz. After catching a career high 75 passes this season, the Eagles feel good about keeping Ertz on the roster. The three year vet commented that the money wasn’t really that important. He just wants an opportunity to win football games and become the best tight end in the game.
