The NWS has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Lancaster County during last night's severe storms and is responsible for damage to several buildings. The tornado was rated an EF2 with winds estimated at 120-125 mph. The damage covered an area 4.7 miles long and 400 yards wide. Up to 50 buildings sustained damage, including several large barns, silos, and a one room school house. Many of the structures belong to the Amish community, who do not carry insurance, but rely on each other for rebuilding

Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ has notified 213 patients by mail that they should get tested for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV. Patients who received intravenous morphine or hydromorphone medications between June 1, 2013, and Sept. 17, 2014 may have been exposed. 53-year-old Frederick McLeish of Egg Harbor Township, a former pharmacist for the hospital, was caught stealing morphine and replacing it with saline. He was arrested for drug tampering. Authorities say the risk is low but patients may have been exposed to McLeish blood. They recommend testing for everyone. McLeish is free on $20,000 bail. He faces 10 years in jail if convicted.

A former employee of the Delaware County District Attorney's office was sentenced today for stealing $715,000 in drug forfeiture money. 48-year-old Mary Lynch of Ridley worked as a financial administrator in the DA's office for 29 years. She spent some of the money on tickets to see Bob Dylan and Taylor Swift in concert and on front row tickets to the Flyers. Lynch was sentenced to 3-6 years in prison. She was also ordered 10 years probation and to pay full restitution.

Tonight,
Party cloudy and Windy, temperatures in the low 40's this evening in Center City.
