Former Presidential candidate New Jersey Governor Chris Christie announced today that he will endorse Donald Trump for president. “I am proud to be here to endorse Donald Trump for president of the United States,” he said at a press conference in Texas. “The best person to beat Hillary Clinton on that stage last night is undoubtedly Donald Trump,” Christie added. The surprise endorsement comes the day after Trump was roughed up a bit by Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz on the debate stage.

Police in New Castle, DE were called out to the area of West 11th Street and Juniper Street around 1:30 a.m. to the report of teenagers slashing tires. A witness saw three white teens trying to puncture the tire of a county police car and notified police. The suspects got away before police could get them. A total of 17 cars were discovered with damage to the tires, totaling thousands of dollars in damage. Some victims had all four tires slashed. The suspects are described at white boys between the ages of 16-18. Anyone with information regarding the crime is asked to contact police at 302-322-9800
