Donald Trump said that women should be punished if they received an illegal abortion. In a televised interview with Chris Matthews Trump said there should be some form of punishment for women, however later last night Trump backed off saying he meant doctors should be punished, not women. Both parties are condemning Trump's comments.

The Philadelphia School District has created profiles that provide key information for every charter school in the city. The one-page descriptions - posted on the district's website - provide application deadlines, grades taught, racial demographics, and extracurriculars. The summaries also show the college-bound rates for high school charters. The link for the profiles can be found on the left at www.philasd.org/charter_schools

A Rhode Island man is facing animal cruelty charges after authorities say he transported a horse that was later found shot more than 100 times with paintballs. Police say 65-year-old Phillip Price was charged Wednesday with animal cruelty, dealing and handling animals without a license and importing animals without an interstate health certificate. The 20-year-old horse named Lily was found at the New Holland Sales Stables earlier this month splattered with paint and sore to the touch. Police say the horse was hit by about 130 paintballs at close range and needed surgery to remove its injured right eye. The case remains under investigation as authorities try to figure out how Lily received the paint markings.
