Two people were killed yesterday after an Amtrak train struck a construction vehicle that was on the tracks. The train was coming from New York and making it's way to Savannah Georgia when it crashed. The people who were killed were identified as the backhoe operator and the supervisor. Septa has released a statement saying that service between Philadelphia and Wilmington will be running under limited service.

People gathered together on Saturday at Independece Mall to try and make a change on how the political campaigns are funded. The people involved in the group will be partaking in a 10-day march which will end in Washington D.C. with a sit-in at the Capitol building to try and pass a reform bill. All together about 150 people will march the entire 140 miles to The Capitol.

A Philadelphia man was injured on Sunday morning after the strong winds caused a partial building collapse which landed on the man while he was in his car. The collapse happened on the 5000 block of Warrington Avenue. Officials said that the winds knocked down the front wall of an unused warehouse, causing power lines and bricks to fall down. The injured man was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was treated for minor injuries and then released.
