A 30-year-old Philadelphia man is currently in Critical condition after being shot in the Wynnfield section of Philadelphia. The shooting happened around 8:45 pm on the 5400 block of Morse Street. The man was shot 3 times in the neck and was rushed to Penn Presbytirian Medical Center. As of now there have been no arrests or any suspected motive.

Sears Holding Companies will now be closing six Kmart stores in the Pennsylvania area, including one of the stores in Philadelphia. The company will also be closing 68 Kmart stores and 10 Sears stores across the country. The closings come about due to a comprehensive review of the companies store portfolios looking at store performance and lease expirations. The stores will start to close this Fall.

Police have now released the transcripts of the 911 call that was made when performing artist Prince was found dead in an elevator at Paisley Park Studios. The call was made at 9:43 a.m. on Thursday morning. An ambulance was then sent to the studios, but Prince was pronounced Dead On Arrival at 10:07 a.m. There is still no word on the cause of death, although Prince did report having the flu recently.
