PA Prmary Today, Cosby Appeal Rejected, Suspects In Custody In Police Standoff

The Pennsylvania Presidential primary election is today. The long awaited day is here for PA after the number of campaign rallies and visits from both Republican and Democratic nominees. The presidential nominees finished their campaigning in Philly yesterday, with Donald Trump at West Chester University, John Kasich visiting South Philly. Hillary Clinton held a rally at City Hall, and Bernie Sanders visited Drexel University. So make sure to get out to your designated polling station today and get your vote in.

Comedian Bill Cosby's sexual assault case will proceed again after his appeal to stop the trial was rejected yesterday by a Pennsylvania appeals court. Cosby is still facing a trial for a 2004 case where a Temple University employee says she was drugged and molested by Cosby. As well as many other cases Cosby is still wrapped in, The appeals court is now prompting the district attorney to set a preliminary hearing date for Cosby.

Three people are now in custody after being involved in a shooting and standoff with Police in the Logan Section of Philadelphia. The shooting happened right before noon yesterday on the 5800 Block of Old York Road, which is right in front of the Precious Babies Learning Academy. A 29-year-old man was shot 5 times during the shoot out and is now in critical condition. The names of the suspects have not yet been released, and no charges have been made.

The Phillies play the Nationals tonight in Washington at 7:05.
