Escaped Inmate Caught; Pot Activists Gather at City Hall; Sanders Rally at Rutgers

Police in New Jersey say an escaped inmate who once served time for manslaughter for killing a baby has been spotted near a highway rest area. 38-year-old Arthur Buckel was seen late Sunday near a rest area along the Garden State Parkway in Lacey Township. State police have set up a command post and local police departments are beefing up patrols. Buckel was found missing last Tuesday when guards did a count at Bayside State Prison in Hammonton.

UPDATE: Arthur Buckel has been taken into custody. He was taken into custody at 11:30 a.m. near mile marker 76.5 on the Garden State Parkway near Berkeley Township.

Marijuana reform activists and advocates took to the Philadelphia streets Sunday to celebrate significant progress for the topic. Marchers gathered at City Hall where Representative Jordan Harris introduced a comprehensive marijuana legalization bill for Pennsylvania. A few weeks ago, Governor Tom Wolf signed a medical cannabis products bill into law while state legislators passed a hemp research bill.

Vermont Senator and Democratic hopeful, Bernie Sanders thrilled thousands of his "A Future to Believe in" believers who jammed Rutgers University's Louis Brown Athletic Center in Piscataway, N.J. Bernie urged supporters to stand up, fight back, and make a political revolution. He said it’s a good thing that his campaign has made the financial, political, and the media establishment quite nervous,
