Comedian Bill Cosby appeared in Montgomery County court on Tuesday for a preliminary hearing on sexual assault charges. District Judge Elizabeth McHugh ruled that there was sufficient evidence in the case and that 78-year-old Cosby should be held for trial. Cosby is accused of giving pills to former Temple University women's basketball director of operations Andrea Constand and molesting her at his Cheltenham mansion in April 2004. Evidence presented at today's hearing included an unsealed civil deposition from 2005 that included statements from both Cosby and Constand. She did not appear at the courthouse in Norristown today. Cosby is free on $1 million bail. He waived his right to a formal arraignment which was set for July 20th. No trial date has been set.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after there was a shooting inside a recording studio in Northern Liberties on Monday night. It happened around 9:30 pm at 444 North 3rd Street. That is home to Batcave Recording Studio, a top hip hop studio in the city, although it is not known if the incident occurred specifically there. A 24-year-old man was shot in the leg. The victim was dropped off at Hahnemann Hospital by two unknown men in a gray car. Police discovered evidence of a shooting and a large amount of blood at the studio. They are currently reviewing surveillance video. There have not been any arrests.

A fire at North Penn High School forced evacuations late this morning. The real life fire drill started at 11:30 a.m. at the school located along East Hancock Street in Towamencin Township, Montgomery County. The fire began in the school's F-Pod near the band room and the Family Consumer Science area. No one was allowed back inside until officials can inspect the building and assess the damage. The students were dismissed early.

Tonight,
Partly Cloudy, temperatures in the low 70's/upper 60's this evening in Center City
