Four suspects are now in custody after a police officer was shot multiple times while conducting a drug investigation in Delaware County on Friday morning. It happened around 10 a.m. behind an apartment complex on Baltimore Avenue near Elmwood Avenue in Folcroft. 25-year-old Officer Christopher Dorman was investigating reports of drug activity. When he confronted the suspects shots were fired, hitting him in the legs, torso, and face. Dorman was wearing a protective vest. He was taken to Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital and then airlifted to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He is in critical but stable condition. Authorities have not released the identities of the suspects at this point. They include one man and three women.

UPDATE: The male suspect has been identified as Donte Brooks Island, aka Abdul Wahi. He has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and related offenses. He is being held on $1 million bail.

Listen to the police dispatch audio recording from the officer involved shooting in Folcroft. Officer Christopher Dorman can clearly heard shouting "I'm shot. I'm shot. I'm shot in the face," multiple times around the 3:39 mark.

Philadelphia Police have arrested a third suspect in connection to the murder of a woman found handcuffed, stabbed, and shot in Fairmount Park last week. 32-year-old Keith Bullock of Chester has been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Kidnapping and Unlawful Restraint. Shintele Smith, 28, and Shavon Armstrong (aka Palliadium Smith), 39, have also been charged in this case. Those two are also facing murder and robbery charges. The body of 26-year-old Toy Charda Bryant was found on June 14th near the Mann Center, but was likely killed elsewhere. Police believe she was murdered because she owed $800 and couldn't pay up.

EMS and Fire crews responded to Villanova University's College of Nursing building after several students and faculty reported smelling an odor and feeling nauseous and dizzy. It happened around 9 a.m. at Driscoll Hall on the 800 block of Lancaster Ave in Villanova. The building was evacuated and crews swept the building. The source of the odor was not found, but air quality measurements deemed the building safe. The all clear was given to reopen the building. No one was seriously harmed.

Villanova Basketball's Ryan Arcidiacono and Daniel Ochefu have signed rookie free agent deals after going undrafted last night. Arcidiacono signed with the San Antonio Spurs and Ochefu signed with the Washington Wizards.

Partly Cloudy, temperatures in the mid 70s this evening in Center City
