Police have charged 41-year-old Paul Kuzan with the murder of his wife, 42-year-old Pamela Nightlinger, on Sunday in Northeast Philadelphia. It happened in their home on the 3100 block of Willits Road around 9:30 p.m. The couple, who had just been married on June 17th, had been arguing. Kuzan shot Nightlinger with a crossbow as she sat in a chair. The bolt went through her chest and the chair and stuck in the wall behind. She ran to a neighbor's for help. He was seen standing naked in the doorway to their home yelling incoherently. Nightlinger died at Aria Torresdale hospital. Kuzan reportedly had been acting erratically lately. He was denied bail by a judge.

Three suicide bombers exchanged fire with police before blowing themselves up at the entrance to the international airport in Istanbul, Turkey on Tuesday. At least 28 people were killed and around 60 were wounded in the attack according to Istanbul Gov. Vasip Sahin. Police at the Ataturk Airport international terminal fired shots to stop the bombers as they approached a security check point at the airport entrance. The airport has two checkpoints, one before the departure gates and another at the entrance to the terminal buildings themselves. Ataturk is one of the busiest airports in the world. Several bombings in Turkey in recent months have been blamed on Kurdish or Islamic State group militants.

UPDATE 10:00 p.m.: 36 killed, 147 wounded says Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim.

Four people were arrested this afternoon for blocking traffic during an immigration policy protest in Center City. They were protesting last week's Supreme Court decision that blocked President Obama's 2014 executive actions on immigration that afforded protections to certain illegal immigrants against deportation. The protest of 50-100 people blocked the Broad Street exit of I-676 from 11 a.m. to noon. The four people arrested had used plastic tubing to link their arms together and sat down in the street to block the roadway. Homeland Security agents had to cut away the tubing to remove the individuals.
