Eagles Pick Up WR from Titans; Merck Cutting More PA Jobs; Liquor Stores in PA Open Sundays

The Eagles acquired wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham from the Tennessee Titans for offensive lineman Dennis Kelly on Tuesday morning in a deal that bolsters the Eagles' wide receiver corps with one of the top talents in last year's draft. Green-Beckham, a 2015 second-round pick, is a former top high school recruit who finished with 32 catches for 549 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie. At 6-foot-5 and 237 pounds, Green-Beckham is an imposing receiver who becomes the Eagles' biggest target.

New Jersey-based Merck is cutting 148 sales and management jobs in Pennsylvania. The drugmaker says the layoffs will take place at its North Wales plant by Sept. 10 because it is no longer promoting the blood circulation medicine Zontivity. The word comes weeks after Merck announced it was shifting 300 jobs from the Montgomery County site and two facilities in northern New Jersey to Massachusetts, where it is concentrating biomedical jobs.

As part of the state's liquor reform bill that became effective this month, 94 additional state liquor stores will now be open Sundays. In September, 26 more state stores will be open on Sundays. Plus, Sunday hours will be expanded in all 188 stores that were previously open from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Stores will now be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. Here's a look at some of the 94 Wine and Spirits stores that opened for the first time last Sunday:
