Police are now searching for a driver who was involved in a hit and run accident that happened in the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia. The accident took place in the early morning hours of Sunday morning at Castor and Bleigh avenues. The victim was a 51-year-old man who was walking with a group of people when the driver of the car came speeding down the street and hit him throwing him around 50 ft away. Police say the driver abandoned the car a couple of blocks away and took off on foot, they are in the process of finding the owner of the car.

Authorities say a suspicious package that was believed to be a bomb was removed from outside of a Hotel in Bethlehem on Saturday night. The bomb squad was called in at around 8 pm on Saturday night to check the package that was found in front of the Hotel Bethlehem. Police blocked off the street and kept people inside the hotel until the packaged was removed by the bomb squad.
