Philadelphia is planning to revamp 11 low performing schools in the school district. Next week, the district will begin a month of meetings with the community and school quality reviews to determine what to do with each school. The Philadelphia School District plans to revamp the schools by next fall, but does not plan on closing any of them. Options include merging a low performing school with a higher performing one or contracting with a provider. The list of schools include: Blankenburg, McDaniel, Heston, Hartranft, and Marshall Elementary Schools; Harding Middle School; and Bartram, Ben Franklin, Fels, Kensington Health Sciences, and Overbrook High Schools. More information can be found at

Donald Trump met with supporters on Monday night in Wilkes Barre in support of his campaign and also to remind voters of PA's voter registration deadline, which is Tuesday. Trump warned his supporters to keep an eye on the polls, so that the "election is not stolen from us." Trump also stated that he wants every vote counted 100 percent once November 8th comes around. Trump said he thinks the "system is rigged" although repeated studies have now shown that there is no proof of voter fraud throughout the country.

Police are investigating after three men were shot in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia Monday night. The shooting happened at around 9:10pm on the 3100 block of Stirling Street. The three men were taken to Aria Health Torresdale, two of them are reportedly in critical condition. One of the victims is believed to be a 17-year-old. So far, there have been no arrests.
