As the Transportation Workers Union and SEPTA continue their meetings throughout the week to prevent a looming SEPTA strike, SEPTA has now released a contingency plan for the city. If the Union goes on strike Monday at midnight, all city buses, trolleys, subways, and the El will not be in service, although all Regional Rails and New Jersey based PATCO will continue to operate into the City. Between 2:45-7 p.m. at Temple, Jefferson, Suburban, 30th Street and University City stations, Regional Rail riders will have to wait on the concourse level to avoid overcrowding on the train platforms. SEPTA stated that people will have to find other alternative routes to work such as car pooling, or possible work transportation. The University of Penn said that if the strike happens they will expand their campus shuttle system to connect with the operating Suburban lines at 69th Street, as well as the PATCO lines in Center City. SEPTA's main advice to the public is start planning your trips now, incase the strike happens.

A Delaware County teen has now been arrested after he was caught hiding a camera inside Villanova University bathrooms, as well as having possession of child pornography. The suspect in custody is 19-year-old Vincent Kane, who is a part-time student at Villanova. The investigation started back in late September after a phone was found hidden and recording in one of the University's bathrooms in Tolentine Hall. Police searched through Kane's home on the 100 block of Sterner Street in Broomall and found a hard drive with around 51,000 images and videos. Some of those included Kane's recordings inside of Villanova bathrooms, at his job at CVS on West Chester Pike in Broomall, and from when he attended Cardinal O'Hara High School. Police also found 300 images of what appears to be a 12-year-old girl. He has been charged with possession of child pornography, sexual abuse of children, invasion of privacy and creation of obscene materials among other related charges. Kane has so far posted 10% of his $50,000 bail. According to his bail, he must have no access to the Internet, have no contact with minors, undergo a psychosexual evaluation, and is not permitted on the campus of Villanova.

Police are now investigating after a Chester Springs family was robbed at gun point in the middle of the day at their own home. Police say that two armed men broke into the family's home through the unlocked back door on Tuesday morning. Police say one of the men forced the family in to the living room, and the other man took one of the teens and made him fill up a bag with the family's cash and jewelry. He then tied up his hands when he was done. A third robber was outside waiting in the getaway car. Before leaving, one of the men told the family to wait inside the bathroom and count to 1000, and if one of them came out before he would shoot them. Police are currently searching for the suspects.

Weather
Tonight, Overcast in the area, with a low of 42 degrees in Center City.
