SEPTA officials continued to meet with the members of the Transportation Workers Union this weekend to avoid the possible strike that could start Tuesday morning if an agreement is not met. The strike could cause a closure of the city's transportation system including the bus, trolley, and subway systems. The strike could possibly affect more than 40,000 passengers in the city. The union's contract ends on Monday at midnight. SEPTA has stated that the strike will not affect any NJ PATCO lines, or any of the Regional Rail lines.

Police are starting an investigation after a body was found in the woods at Fairmount Park on Sunday. Police say that someone spotted the body wrapped in the blanket located on Reservoir Drive shortly after 2:30 p.m. Officials stated that the body was already decomposed so they have not been able to identify the gender and the age of the victim. Police stated that they will perform a full autopsy to collect that information.

The US Justice Department has now been granted access to a warrant to search through Hillary Clinton's aide's laptop after the computer is believed to contain more of Clinton's emails. The computer belonged to her top aide Huma Abedin who is the estranged wife of former Rep. Anthony Weiner. The laptop was seized by government officials during a separate investigation into the sexting scandal between Weiner and an underage girl. The emails were discovered after officials were searching through the mailbox of emails sent by Weiner.
