Philadelphia Police, and other Police forces in big cities around the country are preparing for another round protest by demonstrators who are upset with the election of Donald Trump as President. A protest is set to happen again Thursday night, and organizers of the protests stated they will start rallying again at City Hall. This protest comes just one day after an anti-trump walk that took place Wednesday night and involved between 700-1000 people. Police say that the protests Wednesday night were peaceful for the most part, and are hoping they stay that way tonight.

SEPTA officials have now stated that a man was hit and killed by a train Thursday afternoon. The incident took place at the Norristown High Speed Line in Radnor at around 3 pm Thursday afternoon. Officials have stated that a man was sitting under the station's platform when he was hit by the train, and had died there on the scene. SEPTA officials stated that they are now transporting riders on buses between the Bryn Mawr station and the Norristown Transportation Center as a result of the crash.

Philadelphia Police are now investigating a home invasion that took place at a house off of Temple University's campus. Police say that just after 1 am on Thursday morning, two armed men broke into the Temple University students house. The two students stated that one of the suspects pointed a gun at them and forced them into their living room. This is when the one of the robbers went around and took personal items from around the apartment including a pair of laptops, an Xbox, phones, backpacks, keys, wallets and money. The suspects then forced the students into the basement, and then fled the scene. Police have a description of the two men, and are starting their search.

Weather

Tonight, Clear skies and a low of 45 degrees in Center City.
