The reward is now $25,000 in the hit-and-run death of an Overbrook girl last week. 8-year-old Jayanna Powell was stuck and killed on November 18th while crossing the street with her two siblings at 63rd and Lansdowne Ave. The driver did not stop. The vehicle is described as a gray or silver Nissan Altima or Maxima. It would have front end damage. Powell's family and police urge the driver to turn themselves in to authorities. There was a previous reward of $10,000 from Philadelphia Mayor's Office for information leading to the arrest and conviction. The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) announced an additional $15,000 reward. That reward is for an arrest, but not necessarily a conviction. The total reward is $25,000. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Philadelphia Police at 215-686-TIPS, or the Philadelphia FOP at 215-629-3626.

UPDATE: (11/30/16 10:10 pm) A 24-year-old male suspect has been arrested and is now police custody. Charges are pending.

UPDATE: (11/30/16 7pm) Philadelphia Police may have located the vehicle used in the hit-and-run. It was found in an auto body garage in Frazer, Chester County. Police responded after receiving a phone tip. The car will be brought back to Philadelphia for forensic examination.

Philadelphia Police are looking for two men wanted for vandalizing a Chestnut Hill store with anti-Trump graffiti. It happened around 12:10 a.m. on Friday, November 25th at the Fresh Market on the 8200 block of Germantown Avenue. Surveillance video from the store caught the two men walking towards the store. One suspect is seen spray painting the building while the other man is seen talking pictures/video. The damage is estimated at $3,000 - $10,000. The first suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years-of-age, 6'0", medium build, wearing a blue hooded jacket, gray pants, black shoes. The second suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years-of-age, thin build, reddish hair, wearing a blue blazer, tan/khaki pants, blue scarf, black shoes, and carrying a wine glass. Anyone with information is asked to contact Philadelphia Police. Watch the surveillance video below:
