Pennsylvania State Police say they have found no credible threat to the Upper Perkiomen School District in Montgomery County. The school district had cancelled classes today following a social media post early this morning. The post came from an anonymous Instagram account and contained a screen shot take from a recent anti-gun violence video produced by SandyHookPromise.org. The scene shows a student entering a cafeteria and pulling out a rifle. Classes were canceled at all Perkiomen schools. The posting has since been taken down. Police continue to investigate. Classes will resume on Tuesday.

One horse was struck and killed and a second was captured after a one-crash on the Atlantic City Expressway early Monday morning. It happened in the westbound lanes near Exit 28 in Hammonton around 3 a.m. The car hit the horse near the right shoulder of the highway as it was traveling of the Expressway. The horse died. State troopers were able to corral a second horse that was nearby. The owner of the horses was found and notified. No word on if he might face charges. Police are investigating how the animals got onto the highway. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.

Attorneys for Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein filed a lawsuit in federal court in Philadelphia today seeking an order for a statewide recount of the presidential election and forensic examination of the electronic voting machines used on November 8th. Attorney Ilann Maazel said, “The Pennsylvania election system is a national disgrace.” He says that Pennsylvania voters have to use “vulnerable, hackable, antiquated technology” in reference to electronic voting machines used in most precincts. However, he cannot offer any evidence that the voting has been tampered with. Grassroots recounts on the precinct level have been happening after voters petitioned directly and filed individual affidavits. Stein had urged 3 voters per precinct to request a recount. 75 precincts out of 1600 in the City of Philadelphia were recounted. Hilary Clinton gained 5 votes. No evidence of hacking or tampering was found.
