A suspect was killed during a confrontation with a U.S. Marshal in Northeast Philadelphia Monday. The shooting happened on the 1300 block of Hellerman Street at around 10:20 am. The U.S. Marshal was serving a warrant to a suspect for a shooting that took place in July in Philadelphia. Officials say that the suspect drew a weapon out on the marshal, and the marshal pulled out his gun and shot him, killing the suspect. The suspect's weapon was recovered at the scene. Philadelphia Police are aiding in the U.S. Marshal's office in the investigation.

New Jersey gambling regulators have now seized over $69,000 in unclaimed money won by gamblers who could not prove they were 21, or that had left the casino without cashing in their ticket. The winnings were seized at three casinos: The Trump Plaza, and Trump Taj Mahal (which are both closed) and from the Tropicana. The largest amount came from the Trump Taj Mahal which closed back on October 10th. Officials seized $66,364 from the Trump Taj Mahal. Only $347 was seized from the Tropicana casino. The casinos and the gamblers did not contest the fines or the forfeiture orders. The money forfeited will go towards a state fund for programs for senior citizens and people with disabilities.

A New Jersey family is asking the police to help find a suspect who stole money from their donation box outside of their home. The Murdza family in Burlington Township New Jersey always have a big display of lights each year during the holidays for neighbors and surrounding citizens to enjoy. And each year the family leaves out a donation box, which at the end of the holiday season is donated to help people in need. Well a suspect had broken into the box Sunday night and stole only the cash, leaving the coins. Police are currently investigating the robbery.
