Davies Re-Signed To Union, Future For Eagles' Bennie Logan
  by: blogue40 - Phoenixville, PA

The Philadelphia Union have now announced they have re-signed former United States International Forward Charlie Davies. Davies who was picked up by New England before the trade deadline, had been out of a contract. Davies had one assist last season in his eight appearances for the Union. The Union stated they are excited to get Davies back on the squad for the start of the preseason and look forward to what he can bring to the team.

Eagles Defensive Tackle Bennie Logan will be a free agent after the Eagles last game against the Cowboys on Sunday. It has been stated that Logan will likely be in high demand once he is released as a free agent. The Eagles office has stated they would like to try and keep him on the roster, but with the Eagles' cap constraints they might have to let him walk. When asked how he felt about the situation, Logan stated "Whatever happens, happens. If I'm here, I'm going to be happy. If I'm not here, I'm not going to take it personally. You can never overlook that this is a business. I'm going to see what happens but hopefully, we're going to get things done and I'll still be here."
