A Montgomery County woman was struck and killed Monday night in Springfield Township. Police have stated that the incident happened on the 9200 block of Ridge Pike, near Bells Mill Road at around 7:30 pm on Monday. The woman's identity has not yet been identified, and Police are still investigating into the crash. So far there is no word on whether the driver of the car will be charged in the crash.

Philadelphia Police are now investigating after video has gone viral of a fight that broke out in Southwest Philadelphia on Monday afternoon. The fight happened on 54th and Springfield on Monday between a large group of teens in the area. Police arrived on the scene to break up the fight, and a moment was caught on video of a female police officer throwing a female teen to the ground and can be seen jumping on top of her and hitting her. The video does not show what happened immediately before she was thrown on the ground as it panned away. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross says that the 16-year-old admitted to slapping the officer and knocking her glasses off. She was then taken down. The teen also admitted that they exchanged blows while on the ground. She has been charged with assault on police, disorderly conduct and related charges. The officer has been pulled from the streets as Internal Affairs investigates. Watch the video of the incident below.

New Jersey State Police have now reported that they have caught and arrested 32-year-old Jeremiah Monell on Monday. Monell was wanted for the murder of his estranged wife, 35-year-old Tara O'Shea, which took place back on December 19th. A state-wide manhunt began looking for Monell and Police were offering a $2,500 award for his arrest and conviction. Police had already found his 1994 blue Chevy Pickup Truck, but still could not find Monell himself. Now in police custody, Monell is facing murder charges as well as related weapons possession charges.
