Police are now searching for two suspects that robbed a Wawa in the Somerton section of Philadelphia on Monday. The robbery took place at the Wawa on the 14000 block of Busleton Avenue at 5:35 am on Monday. Police say that a male suspect who was armed with a hammer began hitting the cash registers in the store, as the female suspect began to take the money and cigarettes from behind the counter and throw them in a trash bag. The two suspects were able to get away on foot. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northeast Detective Division ( 215-686-3153/3154).

Pennsylvania Police now state that a woman has been repeatedly making violent and obscene threats towards the Pennsylvania Lottery because she continues to lose while playing her scratch off tickets. Police in Lower Swatara Township have now filed 53 charges against 47-year-old Towanda Shields who is accused of making dozens of calls over the past 8 months. Detectives say that she recently made threats that someone would die at the retail store where she buys tickets, and that she has told lottery employees that she has searched for them online and knows where they live. Police haven't served Shields with an arrest warrant as of yet.

Authorities in Camden County are now investigating the death of an 8-year-old girl in Stratford. Police were called to the scene at the first block of Union Avenue on December 31 at around 1:50 pm for the report of an unresponsive girl. The girl was rushed to Kennedy Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 2:15 pm. Investigators say that the family of the girl was present at the time of the incident, and that the investigation is still ongoing.
