An elderly woman is now in the hospital after being attacked by two dogs in the Germantown section of Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon. The incident happened on the 5800 block of Brush Road at around 3:40 pm on Wednesday. Police responded to a call of a person screaming and arrived on the scene to find a 96-year-old woman who was unresponsive suffering from multiple bites on her arm and face. The woman was rushed to the Einstein Medical Center where she has been listed in serious condition.

Police are now investigating after a Wawa in Springfield was robbed by a man armed with a box cutter. The robbery took place at the Wawa located on 195 Saxer Avenue in Springfield at around 1:45 am on Tuesday. Police say the man walked up to counter and confronted the clerk, and threatened the clerk with a box cutter. The suspect then went behind the counter and started filling a pillow case with cartons of cigarettes. The man then fled the store, Police are still searching for suspect.

Hundreds of members and activists of the LGBTQ community took to the streets of Center City on Wednesday night in a dance party protest to show lawmakers that they stand for women's rights, universal healthcare, and equality for the LGBTQ community in America. The dance party protest featured many glow sticks, upbeat music, and festive clothing. The protest took place in front of the Loews Hotel where the Republican Congressional members are staying for the GOP retreat. The protest shut down Market Street between 11th Street and City Hall. Wednesday's protest is reportedly the first of many that will happen over the next 24 hours as President Trump makes his way to Philadelphia for the GOP retreat.
