Lehigh Valley authorities are now investigating a fire that broke out in North Whitehall Township on Tuesday night. The fire broke out at around 7 pm at the old Rockdale Hotel on the 1800 block of Rockdale Road. The hotel had been converted into a three-story house. The fire was eventually put out by the responding fire crews, but the building appeared to be completely destroyed. Luckily no injuries were reported in fire.

North Wilmington Police are now investigating a kidnapping that took place on Tuesday night. Police received a call at around 8:45 of an abduction at the Hill Apartments in North Wilmington. Police say that a woman was exiting her car when a man approached her and pulled out a gun on her. The man then forced her back inside of her car and made her drive to a nearby ATM to withdraw money. Police say that sometime during the altercation the woman was punched. The suspect is described as a white male about 5'8 and driving a dark colored SUV. Anyone with information is asked contact police.

The home of Villanova Wildcat's Basketball will now be getting a multi-million dollar makeover. Villanova's Board of Trustees have now approved a $60 million renovation of the University's Athletic center known as the Pavilion. Construction is set to begin in June and will take around a year to complete, the renovation will update the Pavilion with a complete overhaul and state of the art equipment. The makeover will be completely funded by donors. While under construction, the Women's basketball team will play home games at Jake Nevin Field House on Villanova's campus and the Men's basketball team will play home games at The Wells Fargo Center.
